Amokachi opens up on Nigeria sport

Former Super Eagles forward Daniel Amokachi has said that corruption is endemic in Nigeria Sports, claiming that total and urgent cleansing is needed. The erstwhile Super Eagles’ assistant coach revealed this when he joined forces with coalition of Civil Society Organisations operating under the aegis of National Support Groups for Good Governance in Abuja. The ex international praised the Department of State Service (DSS) over the arrest of alleged corrupt judges stressing that the sports arena is the den of corruption in Nigeria. “I have said that I will support the movement because in my field which is sports, corruption is endemic and something must be done.
