World Cup trophy sculptor, Silvio Gazzaniga dies at age 95

  Italian sculptor, Silvio Gazzaniga who designed and created the current version of the FIFA World Cup trophy has died at the age of 95.
Silvio designed the trophy in 1971. He passed away in his sleep on Monday October 31 following series of minor aliment.
  A released statement from his son, Giorgio, announced his father’s demise. ‘He just didn't wake up this morning. It was a peaceful death.’
