Kim,Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian have allegedly filed a
lawsuit to prevent their future sister-in-law,Blac Chyna from
trademarking the Kardashian
surname.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ,
the sisters are opposing Chyna’s move to
trademark her soon-to-be marital name – Angela
Renee Kardashian, which would be her legal
identity once she and Rob finally get hitched. The
new mother had been trying to lock the name down
in order to use it for working in entertainment, and
also on social media.
According to the court documents, the sisters
stated that their reputation and goodwill would
suffer irreparable damages if Blac Chyna is allowed
to go ahead with her plans. They made it known in
the legal documents that Chyna is “deliberately
seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity”
of the Kardashian name and they are therefore,
blocking the move.
The report reads; “Just because Blac Chyna’s
marrying a Kardashian doesn’t mean she can get
in the club — the Kardashian sisters are going to
war to block her from cashing in on the family
name.
