Suarez has picked up eight trophies since moving to Catalunya, including
back-to-back league titles and the 2015 Champions League.
Now he has signed a new deal at the club to keep him there until the age of 34, featuring a buy-out clause of £200million.
Barcelona had been keen on rewarding the Uruguayan for his on-field contribution during the last two years, despite him still having two-and-a- half years left on his previous deal.
A statement on the Barcelona website declared:
"FC Barcelona announce that they have reached an agreement with Luis Suarez for the extension of the player’s contract until 30 June 2021.
