The Publisher of SaharaReporters, Omoyele Sowore, has described the N50,000 book
recently launched by Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye as
“cut and paste of
newspaper articles.”
Sowore made the claim during the launch of Sahara Reporters’ civic media lab in Lagos.
According to Sowore,“What prof. briefly mentioned about the launching in Abuja was the
book launch of Dino Melaye, that has been very gut-wrenching for a lot of us.
“We have been looking for that book in bookstores in Abuja, it has not been made
available because we can’t afford it. It is N50,000 — just to buy cut and paste of
newspaper articles.”
Malaye had on May 15, 2017 launched a book titled ‘Antidotes for Corruption’ in Abuja.
The book launch had major political gladiators from across the county gracing the
occasion.
