Defiant Wayne Rooney hits back at 'disgraceful' reaction to England booze shaming

Wayne Rooney has broken his silence on his England boozing
shame and branded the reaction to it .The forward who was dropped by Manchester United boss Jose
Mourinho for his side's 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Saturday,

coming off the bench.
  But after the match he spoke publicly for the first time after drinking issue.

  Rooney said: "What's been going on is disgraceful.
 I'm proud to play for my country and I'm proud of my achievements. It's not finished yet.

   "It feels as if the media are trying to write my obituary and I won't let that happen.

  "I think what's been going on is disgraceful. It shows a lack of respect and I think enough to enough.
  "That's all I want to say."
